Aptly known as the valley of flowers, Nubra Valley is a fascinating tourist destination located near the Khardunga La pass (highest motorable pass in the world) in the north of Leh in Kashmir. One has to cross this Pass to reach Nubra. The views of this valley are mind-blowing. Fruits like apples, apricots, oranges and berries are cultivated here. You will also find several monasteries, ruins of palaces and villages around the valley. You will find several centers of Buddhist leanings here. Bactarian camels (shaggy double humped camel) and sand dunes are the other interesting attractions of the valley.
